Multi-Engine Instructor Rating |
|
Program starts every Monday (excluding holidays).
Multi-Engine Add-on Required: Commercial ASEL, AMEL, Instrument AMEL. U.S. Passport/Birth Certificate (if not US, we will help on TSA paperwork), 3rd Class Medical. It will be helpful if FAA Written exam are already passed for FIA. Applicant should have current Flight Review, Instrument Proficiency, and have flown 10 hours in past 90 days.
The FAA requires that the instructor/applicant have a minimum of 15 hours PIC experience in multi-engine aircraft at the time of the check ride for the Initial Multi-Engine Instructor Rating. The times shown below are the minimum for the applicant who has previous multi-engine flight time and current proficiency in Multi-Engine and Instrument Flying. |
